Inter-cultural Communication
At ECES, we provide inter-cultural communication services that help UK teachers to understand Chinese students and their learning behaviours. These hints and tips help to develop effective ways of communicating and ensure a successful learning outcome. For enhanced personal development, rely on us.
This is a one-day INSET teacher training course “Cross-Cultural Teaching and Learning”. It’s already been delivered to many educational institutions in the UK including University of Bath, University of the West of England, Swansea University, and independent schools including Wellington College, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, and Sherborne International College.

Staying at the University during the course was a good decision, modern and easy to locate lectures, bus stops, refreshments – a pleasurable experience – I am sorry my daughter is going to a university at the other end of the country!

This is a well-balanced course with theory and practice. The lecturer went into depth of the cultural luggage Chinese students carry with them when learning overseas and thus creates a good starting point for the educators in a different educational setting to set up a programme to better cater for the needs of these overseas Chinese learners, given emotional, academic or cultural.
